Emergency First Aid CPR Level C is a one-day course providing basic life-saving first aid and CPR skills for adults, children, and babies. The Emergency First Aid CPR Level C course is developed by the Red Cross and meets legislation requirements for provincial/territorial worker safety and insurance boards and includes the latest first aid and resuscitation (CPR) guidelines.
This course is ideal for any tradesperson, any driver (Transport, Taxi, School Bus, Etc), security guards and those who need basic first aid skills for adults, children and babies.

 

Course Content

  • The Red Cross
  • Preparing to respond
  • Check Call Care
  • Airway emergencies for adults, children, and babies
  • Breathing Emergencies
  • Circulation Emergencies & Deadly Bleeding
  • First aid for respiratory and cardiac arrest for adults, children, and babies
  • Wound care
  • Includes any other content required by specific legislation

Course Completion

  • 100% attendance in this 6.5 to 8-hour course and participation is mandatory
  • Participants must be able to comprehend and successfully demonstrate all required skills, including critical steps
  • A minimum of 75% must be achieved on a written, closed book knowledge evaluation
  • Participants must adhere to the Red Cross Fundamental Principles while in the course
